in my first (of possibly few) baseball installments, let me just say that I hate that giambi went to the yanks. the braves could have used this guy, but instead they sign matt freakin franco. damn. the braves are apparently too busy celebrating the fact that terry pendleton is the new batting coach than to worry about anything silly like next season.
